OMFG cant wait. Opinions?

Call of Duty: Black ops is due for release in November, and like MW2 im sur it will spark a price war between the major retailers. MW2 was available on release date in Sainsbury and Morrisons for £28.99, with a limit of 2 copies per person. Comet, Currys and PC World all offered a price match, if you could prove the price, and that there was stock left, so take advantage of this.
Pre orders on Amazon started at £39.99, but a few days before release they reduced their prices and refunded the discount back onto your card.
Based on this, I can see Call of Duty: Black Ops being around the £30 mark for the first week or so. If you want to guarantee that you will get it on release day then I would suggest you pre-order it with amazon, as the somtimes get it to you a day or two before release date, and they usually reduce their price in-line with most of the price wars.
Its that time of the year again, when the football season starts, which also marks the start of the official Fantasy Premier League.
For those who have never tried a fantasy football game before I would recommend you start with. Basically the you start of with a budget of £100 million, of which you must select 2 Goalkeeper’s, 5 defenders, 5 mid fielders, 3 forword’s. Then each gameweek, players earn points based on their performance in the real game.
The fun doesnt stop there you can also go head to head with friends, by creating your own league to battle it out for top spot. There is also a prize for the top few at the end of the season.
I was browsing through Facebook last night and a friends Facebook status said:
“It makes me sad that there will be a generation brought up thinking that “All The Small Things” is a fucking Jedward original”

This is a very valid point and is a big problem within the mainstream music industry. I’m 19 and I am able to remember the original version by blink 182, however the above quote is so true, in the sense that younger generation will be ‘brainwashed’ into thinking that its a Jedward song.
Jedward were a crowd pleaser on the X factor but frankly cant do much other than dance around a stage. They choose songs that had very little ’singing’ involved. Now they have been rocketed onto our screens and radios with 2 covers of great songs. Is that all they are capable of?
The same thing has happened with the classic “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey, which was covered by the Glee Cast and Big Brother 11. I even saw it with my own eyes, people updating their status with things like “it’s way better than the original” WTF!!!1@*# I mean they mascaraed it, but each to their own as they say.
Dont get me wrong I love most mainstream music, some may even call me a sheep, but if its what I like I cant change what my ears like to hear. It is however a sad state of affairs when an annoying duo, who didn’t even win a talent competition, ruin a classic and then the younger generation become tricked into thinking its their song.

Believed to have been an impressive 111 (one hundred and eleven) years old, officials made a trip this week to congratulate Sogen Kato on being the oldest man in Tokyo.

Upon arrival, they were greeted by his grandaughter who claimed that Mr Kato “didn’t want to see anybody”. Japanese authorities grew suspicious and sought a full police investigation.
On Wednesday of this week, police forced their way into Mr Kato’s house and were greeted by a grueling sight. A mummified corpse. Tokyo’s ‘oldest man’ now appeared to be Tokyo’s most ‘decomposed man’. According to Japanese authorities, Mr Kato may have been dead for some 30 years!
A Tokyo metropolitan welfare official said, “His family must have known he has been dead all these years and acted as if nothing happened. It’s so eerie”.
Police are now investigating possible fraud charges, as it is believed that the family did not alert the authorites to Mr Kato’s death because they were spending his pension fund. Authorities claimed that some money had recently been withdrawn from a bank account of the deceased.
Agreeably, under the circumstances it would not have been easy for Mr Kato to withdraw money!
