Spotify Mobile

After a long wait Spotify mobile has been released on the iPhone and Android platforms. Spotify has become a very popular free source for music and it was only a matter of time before it hit the mobile platforms.

However in order to use Spotify mobile you must have a Spotify Premium account, meaning that the music is no longer free. Also Spotify mobile requires internet access when streaming music, which may mean extra charges depending on your data plan.

Features Overview:
* Stream over WiFi or 2.5/3G

* Offline playlists
Play music even without a connection, for example when riding
the underground or on a plane.

* Access your Spotify account
All your playlists will be made available.

* On-the-fly sync
Add a track to a playlist and see it appear immediately on your
computer and vice versa.

    I was so excited about this, but you need to be a premium member to stream songs.

    It’s £10/month, but that’s just for ‘renting’ the music. You can download the app for free, but you can’t listen to the music. :(
