I have just come back from the cinema after watching Paranormal Activity, Jeez the ending was terrifying. Now first off lets remember it was a film made with a budget of just under $11000 but heck it didnt seem like it. Most of the scary bits are at the end, which kind of rescues the film as there are many scenes that are just boring. However It did its job and scared the hell out of me.
After doing some research ive discovered that the ending in the cinema version released on the 25th of November was not the original.
Im now on the look out for the original ending, if any of you manage to locate a version then please leave a link in the comments below.

I was really into this film at the end. It’s a shame that it wasn’t as good from the beginning, but at least it picked up. Still don’t think it was all it was hyped up to be.

‘According to an interview with Peli, the original ending was the police ending. The suicide ending on the other hand was a rare alternate ending screened publicly only once. Peli goes on to say that there were many more alternative endings but they never got screened. However, we may see all of these endings on some kind of special edition DVD in the future.’
