Steve Jobs has held his hand up, admitting that the iPhone 4.0 is flawed. The metal around the outside of the phone acts as an antenna, however when holding the phone users lose network signal.

Apple have shipped over 3 million iPhone 4 and have stated that they will not be recalling them. Instead they have said every iPhone 4 user will be able to get a free cover to counteract the signal loss. People have also reported burning their hands on the metal case, after leaving it on charge for to long.

Apple made a mistake ??@~#!! OH EMMM GEEEE.

The highly anticipated iPhone 4.0 has been revealed and is due for release on the 24th of June in the US, its is not yet been confirmed on the UK release date. However if you want to get your hands on the iPhone 4.0 absolutely free then simply follow these steps:

Today Apple UK announced the prices for the iPad in the UK. It looks like us brits get the worse end of the deal again.

“Pricing & Availability
iPad is available in the UK for a suggested retail price of £429 (inc. VAT) for 16GB, £499 (inc. VAT) for 32GB, £599 (inc. VAT) for 64GB for Wi-Fi models and £529 (inc. VAT) for 16GB, £599 (inc. VAT) for 32GB and £699 (inc. VAT) for 64GB for Wi-Fi + 3G models. iPad will be sold through the Apple Store, Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorised Resellers. The iBooks app for iPad including Apple’s iBookstore will be available as a free download from the App Store on May 28th.”

Apple are the only company out there who can overcharge for their technology and people will still buy it. I quote a friend “I think they could have priced it at £800 and it would have still sold out…” which is very much true.

I wont be buying it, as I can justify the cost, but im in doubt that it fly off the shelves.

The iPad is to go on sale in the UK on the 28th of May.

Is the iPhone 4.0 leaked by GIZMODO actually the real iPhone 4.0?

A few days ago GIZMODO published an article on what they claim is the iPhone 4.0 which they happened to find in a restaurant…Hmmmm suspicious to say the least, I’m not suggesting its fake, they are a very large source of gadgets news and thus is put my trust in them. However unitl today I still had some doubt in the back of my head.

If it is the iPhone 4.0 then I would happily buy it. With external volume buttons and a flash for the camera these features are a saviour. It could probably have a few more touch ups to the fascia to make it a bit more apple-esque but I’m sure they will continue to play around until they get it perfect.

Apple have announced that Multitasking will be included on the new iPhone OS 4.0…talk about 4 years late.

Apple have derived a way of implementing multitasking without making the foreground laggy. Simply by double tapping the home button the user can see all background applications.

So now the iPhone has finally taken over other smartphone OS.

In other news the apple iPad has shipped over 450,000 units and there has already been 3.5 million iPad application downloads since its release on Saturday.

Apple have revealed the Apple iPad. It seems that the rumours were right. Im still puzzled as to what the main function of the iPad is for? To me it looks like an overgrown iPhone. Looks impresive though.

Prices are set at:

16GB –
$499 WI-FI
$629 WI-FI + 3G

32GB -
$599 WI-FI
$729 WI-FI + 3G

64GB -
$699 WI-FI
$829 WI-FI + 3G

The 16GB seems a reasonable price. The iPad is going to rival most netbooks, with a high probability of dominating the market. I for one would prefer an Apple iPad rather than an eee PC.
