Final Fantasy VII – I know this is a little bit of a wierd choice of game but I chose this game to make a little bit of a point aimed at people that design games these days. Lets start with the game though.
Final Fantasy 7 starts off with a Blonde Ex Member of a group called Solider named cloud, He’s fighting alongside a rebel group called AVALANCHE, after a little storyline and blah blah blah they find themselves in pursuit of a First Class Solider named Sephiroth.
Sephiroth wishes the complete destruction of Earth by summoning a Meteor with the Black Materia and by doing so causing so much damage to the planet he will absorb all its energy & Knowledge… dont ask me how. anyways cloud tackles various things on his journey to accomplish this mission and learns alot about himself on the way, including that he was never a member of Solidier and it was all a mix up of memories cause he was an experiment of Hojo’s gone wrong. Cause a Second class Solider called Zack helped him escaped, Overdosed on Jenova cells Zack leads his escape and to save cloud takes on an entire army….
but dont worry you’ll come to know this over a time span of about 5-6 days pending on how much free time you have you can complete this game over a week to 100%. that was a very narrow description of a very small part of the story.
Which brings me to my bad point of this game. Final Fantasy 7 overloads you with information and since theres no Audio, theres alot of reading on your part and if your not paying attention alllll the way to the end you will quickly fall into confusion… what’s this? who’s the hell is that? why should I care if he ate a curry?
Along with the story line being a little misguided. you can acquire 2 extra members to your group. which on my first run through the game was very handy to know when I had already finished the game… I missed out on some major extra part which I didnt get to do in the end cause I didnt have one of the extra members on disc 2.
Good points – With all the bad there is obviously some good considering over 9.8 million people have purchased this game in it’s 14 years since being released. there is obviously a good point in there.

Alot of modern game like to fill up on one of these factors but never ever attack all three effectively. Final fantasy 7 did just that.

I think its a huge marketing ploy, I mean a new Xbox console advert shown inside an arena sponsored by Microsoft, CMON. Why are people being so pessimistic, be optimistic. Maybe Microsoft are genuinely doing a product placement, just like all the other product placements in the film such as HP. Even if its not definite this is some proof that the Xbox 720 is a concept being trialed, or prehaps this is the reaction Microsoft wanted, a sneaky way to find your opinion on the name.
Alongside all the speculation over the name of the next Xbox console, there is one thing we can be sure of, Microsoft will no doubt bring out an 8th generation console at some point within the next 2-5 years. I agree with those who feel that maybe Xbox 720 isn’t the best name and perhaps they should re-think the name of their next console.
Dead Island – A First Person Kill Fest. You get to start your Kill Fest with Either Sam B – The Brother, Xion Mei – Jackie Chans Sister, Logan – Drunk punk White guy and finally Purna – Some kinda Leader. Each have there own Weapon Speciality. I decided to go with The Brother.
First time in I get out of the Hotel into the beach area and killed a few Walkers then ran into my first Thug oh dear. I ran straight in twatted him in the face with my brand new Unreliable Crowbar and he threw my ass 4 meters back on my ass and started his attack on me. after quickly learning the strategy to killing this behemoth I eventually broke both of his arms and eventually killed him, Great animation when you break the zombies arms they just dangle there like theres a bag of snooker balls in his arms great stuff.
Completed loads of side quests great first day…. what happend next only effects PS3 cause appartently PC & Xbox 360 have enough sense to make a manual save option. I looked for a save function couldnt find one so guessed the Checkpoint messages that kept coming up were a sort of Auto saving, Next day Load up my account and boom I’m back to about the beginning lost all my exp and lvl’s and nifty weapons. (BAD) quite a big dam error on the developers part, But all this can be resolved by just going online. So heres my heads up if you want this game and play PS3 you will need a online connection or your going to have a bad time.
Onto the good aspects. I’m very happy to say the Detail in gore in this Game is much higher than alot of games I’ve seen, you are litterally able to chop every limb off zombies or humans in game. I was very pleased when I strolled up to a zombie running at me full pelt and with a gentle tap of the R1 his head rolled miles away. the developers actually took into account the speed it was running at me into account!! thats the kinda detail Games these days need, after its head was severed, I went on to remove the already dead zombies arms and legs with much delight. blood was spirting everywhere. Game developers did an amazing job on detail but I feel it could have gone further I wanna see Bone I wanna see intestines I want it to be acurate If i slash a katana at a zombies chest/rib area, I wanna see him effected by the blow i’ve dealt not just get back up as if i gave him a gentle tap on the back.
I almost considered this a bad game at the beginning only cause of the lack of save function on the PS3 but Dead Islands Game play is pleasant and you’ll soon forget there was even a problem in the first place, Storyline is alright and graphic & gore has my thumbs up, its a game you should definetly consider buying.
We want MORE DETAILED GORE!!! More ways of developing weapons & When leveling up more skills to level up. Increase HP Increase Stamina. Get to it Dead Island Crew.
