Is the iPhone 4.0 leaked by GIZMODO actually the real iPhone 4.0?

A few days ago GIZMODO published an article on what they claim is the iPhone 4.0 which they happened to find in a restaurant…Hmmmm suspicious to say the least, I’m not suggesting its fake, they are a very large source of gadgets news and thus is put my trust in them. However unitl today I still had some doubt in the back of my head.

If it is the iPhone 4.0 then I would happily buy it. With external volume buttons and a flash for the camera these features are a saviour. It could probably have a few more touch ups to the fascia to make it a bit more apple-esque but I’m sure they will continue to play around until they get it perfect.

Gizmodo have also now published how apple have requested that Gizmodo return the lost iPhone. Check out the whole iPhone 4.0 saga here: Gizmodo.com – The Tale Of Apples Lost iPhone

Leave a comment on what you think about the iPhone 4.0 saga.

Apple have announced that Multitasking will be included on the new iPhone OS 4.0…talk about 4 years late.

Apple have derived a way of implementing multitasking without making the foreground laggy. Simply by double tapping the home button the user can see all background applications.

So now the iPhone has finally taken over other smartphone OS.

For a more in-depth look at what you can expect from the iPhone OS 4.0 check out the iPhone OS 4.0 Keynote event video here:

In other news the apple iPad has shipped over 450,000 units and there has already been 3.5 million iPad application downloads since its release on Saturday.

I do apologize for not posting this sooner.

On the 3rd Day Of Christmas Gifts, I recommend to you: The iPhone 3GS

No Christmas list is complete without the addition of an iPhone 3GS this year, as one of the hottest gadgets to hit the market, not just this year, I am talking ever hear, it’s clear that everyone from kids to adults is going to be wanting one of these!

Once upon a time Apple was riding on the touch screen technology to make it’s iPhone unique in the mobile market, though with other companies quickly coming onboard with this, Apple executed their plan B to differentiate themselves from other smart phones with one of the most robust and extensive applications centre known as the ‘App Store’. This is probably one of the most decision-making features that the iPhone 3G has over other smart phones that’s got everyone craving for it in their stockings this year!

We’ve all seen the adverts, from racing games to catching cabs, GPS to locating your parked car, is it any wonder the iPhone 3G appeals to such a large market!

Definitely a gadget that’s going to be on a lot of Christmas lists this year, as to whether they will be getting it is another story with hefty price tags ranging from £342.50 – £538.30 for different models on PAYG!

Palm Pre

Palm Pre

Today see’s the release of the Palm Pre into the UK ‘Smartphone’ market. It highly anticipated release has been in the making for several years and had been touted as an ‘iPhone killer’ in the US market.

It introduces its own OS, which is known as webOS, similar to the way a user can multi task applications on a desktop.

Only time will tell if It will turn into an ‘iPhone killer’, but I cant personally see anything ever totally killing the Apple iPhone.

On another note October 14th saw the release of the Blackberry Storm 2, which see’s the introduction of an improved touchscreen technology, helping to improve its typing experience.

If you want an iphone but cant wait for it to come out on Orange, go here and get your Free iPhone on Orange

Potential iPhone owners in the United Kingdom will soon have a choice when it comes to service providers now that Orange has announced plans to sell the iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK. O2’s exclusive deal with Apple’s iPhone in the UK is coming to an end, after Orange announced today that it would also be selling the handset later this year.

In a brief statement, Orange said it had agreed a deal with the Californian computer company to start selling the iPhone in Britain.

“Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year,” it said. “Orange, which has the largest 3G network covering more people in the UK than any other operator, will sell iPhone in all Orange direct channels including Orange shops, the Orange webshop and Orange telesales channels, as well as selected high street partners.”

This is great news for people wanting an iPhone in the UK, and it may mean that I consider buying one as im currently in a contract with orange and would like to continue with them.
