So apple have revealed their latest addition, the new iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S is due to release in US, Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, and Japan on the 14th October 2011, with the option to pre-order on the 7th October 2011.

The iPhone 4S includes a variety of inovative features including:

Many people anticipated the release of the iPhone 5, however the elusive iPhone 5 is now still months away, which is most likely due to release in June/July.

Lets take the recent iPhone Privacy issues. It has recently been plastered all over the papers about your locations data that is stored on an unencrypted file. Now this in its self is not an issue, as apple have confirmed that they did not intend on using this data for anything commercial.

However now that the media have got wind of the whole story, they have created mountain out of a mole hole, and created more of a problem. Many computer hackers are now aware of this and can possible exploit it.

The noble thing to do here, would have been to inform apple (like virus companies inform software vendors when they find an exploit), and give them 1-2 weeks to potentially hotfix the problem.

I’m sure most of you have seen this on the news. I’m all for freedom of speech, but there is a time and a place. This is selfish and disrespectful act on a day of remembrance for all those past and present who have died defending this country.

I suppose I’m adding fuel to the fire, but I’m sure this is what they wanted, this exposure. Clearly they had some clue that this would have gone viral, and they got what they want.

I’ve overheard a variety of people talking about this today with mixed opinions, but the most dominant opinion has hints of racism in it. At the end of the day, this is a very small minority of extremist ‘Muslims’ and thus it is unfair to generalise the whole ‘Muslim’ community in the same way.

Just my pennies worth.

Hmmmm anyone notice this. It just goes to prove the amount of data facebook have about us.

Facebook has roled out its latest feature called ‘Facebook Friendship’, which allows you to see your friendship with your friends on facebook. On the surface of it seems harmless, and can be quite fun looking back at the history of your friendship.

I think its a good little feature to look back of the history of your friendships with certain friends, but I dont think its a good idea to let other people view your friendship with other people, what if you dont want your past to haunt you lol .

I cant find this in the privacy settings so not sure how to edit the settings.
