It seems that the rumours were right. Im still puzzled as to what the main function of the iPad is for? To me it looks like an overgrown iPhone. Looks impresive though.

Prices are set at:

16GB –
$499 WI-FI
$629 WI-FI + 3G

32GB -
$599 WI-FI
$729 WI-FI + 3G

64GB -
$699 WI-FI
$829 WI-FI + 3G

The 16GB seems a reasonable price. The iPad is going to rival most netbooks, with a high probability of dominating the market. I for one would prefer an Apple iPad rather than an eee PC.

You can expect Wi-Fi models shipping in late March. 3G models shipping in April. (This is the Apple.com other country’s are awaiting confirmation.)
