Seeing this video scares my wallet. The beta is in full swing today and from first looks, people are loving it.

The next few weeks is going to do some real damage to my wallet with the release of FIFA11, Medal Of honor, COD: Black Ops. All these games may be the reason why I fail my 3rd year at uni, sad I know.

Microsoft have banned as many as 1 million gamers from Xbox Live for breaching the Digital Rights Management system by using a modified Xbox 360.

User who have previously used a modified Xbox 360 on Xbox Live were shown the following message: “no recourse for terms of use violations”. Affected 360’s will still be able to use it offline, but in order to re-connect to Xbox Live, users must recover gamer tags from another Xbox 360.

This coincides with the highly anticipated release of the latest addition to the Call Of Duty franchise Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. A statement from Microsoft suggests that it was timed to prevent the users from playing pirated copies of the game.

However I think it’s just think it’s been timed perfectly to increase sales of the Xbox 360 consoles. I would take a wild guess that over 50% of the 1 million banned will go out and buy a new Xbox, so that they can play the MW2. SNEAKY RUSSIANS.

For those who have a flashed xbox 360, you can get your hands on modern warfare 2. There are numerous videos out there that show the guns, perks and game play but I feel this one sums it up the best, thanks goes to chigley.

However im sure you all know that if your caught using a flashed Xbox 360, you can say bye bye to your Xbox live, which will require you to buy a new Xbox live to re-connect.

I’m eagerly anticipating the release, but I wouldn’t go as far as flashing my Xbox 360 to get it 10 days early. I like my Xbox live subscription, as its the only thing that keeps me on Xbox.

On a side note, Ive seen numerous copy’s of Modern Warfare on eBay, which is all foobar. Whats gets me is that there are many auctions for the prestige edition, which are going for in excess of £140.

Roll on the 10/11/09 :D
